Obviously I’m inspired by movie title these days (check out my latest post here). I have to be honest, I didn’t know the definition of Silver Lining even though I saw the movie and thoroughly enjoyed it. But, weirdly the name came to mind while I was taking pictures, and I guess it’s because of the silver “linings” (no pun intended) on the jacket 😉
So, for all you that are in the same position as me (a few days ago) regarding the meaning of silver lining, let me enlighten you. You use the term silver lining when you want to emphasize the hopeful side of a situation that might seem gloomy on the surface (Google definition).
