Happy New Year everyone! I hope you had an awesome time during the Holidays with your loved ones! For us, it was a staycation, and while I was about it, I did some redecorating around the house.
I’d like to thank all of you for supporting me and my journey with my blog. For sure, there has been some ups and down along the way… but the key is to always find a way to get back up. I’ve been watching DJ Khaled’s snapchat lately, and I have to admit that the man gives some good words of wisdom!! One thing he said was that every road has speed bumps, they are meant to slow us down but not to stop us. We will come across “speed bumps” in our lives also…But you don’t stop in front of a speed bump, you just roll through them. The key in life is to drive right through the obstacles that we encounter and continue going our merry way.
So onto the “other” matter at hand. This awesome faux fur stole! I snatched this fur stole during the Black Friday sale at Zara. I love that it’s such a timeless piece that I will be able to wear over and over again. My friend was saying that it has an “aristocratic” but I don’t mind it… To be honest, I feel that it instantly elevates any outfit. Any time that life punches you in the gut, or you might be feeling down, just throw on a fur stole and put on some red lipstick and you’re good to go! 😉 And besides, it’s so much nicer than a woolen scarf. Don’t you think? 😛
