My favorite time of the year has finally come! Soon, I will be in my home country for the holidays!  I decided to do an airport outfit post for you guys since some of you might be travelling to go home for the holidays!

My airport outfit consists of basically these 5 items:

1. Ballet flats/booties

You know you’re going to have to take off your shoes at the security check up, so it might as well be some ballets flats that you can take off and slip on easily.

However, as much as I would love to put on my ballet flats, it’s snowing during that time of year in Montreal! So, booties or riding boots are the perfect alternative!

2. Leggings

I prefer leggings for travelling because they are much more comfortable than jeans! Whoever said fashion cannot be comfortable is a liar! 😛

3. Blazer

Everybody knows airports are freezing! For my last trip, I did the mistake of not bringing any blazer during my flight. Thank God my Hubby had brought his sweater! For sure, it was swallowing me. For sure it was not my favorite look but hey! What’s a girl to do when she’s practically having hypothermia! 😀

4. Sunglasses!

For me sunglasses are a MUST for travelling! I’m the kind of girl who as soon as the plane takes off (or as soon as they finished serving the snacks!) sleeps for the remainder of the flight! But we know that not everybody looks pretty when they are sleeping! Not that I’m saying that I’m not, but I prefer having my sunglasses on while doing so!

5. Scarf

Another necessary item for my travelling outfit is the scarf! Like I said, airports and airplanes are like freezers! That scarf can double as your pillow during the flight or it can serve as a blanket!

So, when you’re tempted to put on your sweatpants for your next flight, remember how chic those celebrities’ airport outfits are! It might even score you an upgrade 😉
